MyInovasi2012















INTRODUCTION


This innovation competition is a flagship program by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) to foster innovative and creativity culture for the benefit of our Malaysian community. The competition us open to university students in Malaysia - Universities, Universty Colleges, Polytechnics, and community colleges. If find appropriate, the organizer of this competition encouraged the program to be obsorbed into learning activities in a credit worthy co-curricular courses at their respective institutions.





THEME


The theme " Appropriating Innovation for Sustaianable Society " displays the desire and passion that count every innovation made by the students is centered on faith and aspiration to dedicate towards creating a sustainable society.





When is the deadline?
The closing date for this competition is on 22 September 2012. However you must register your team through our online registration website at www.myinovasi2012.com. Online registration will close on August 30, 2012 which aims to provide registration ID for each group that would like to participate. The organizer reserves the right to change this date if necessary.

LEVEL OF COMPETITION :

1. Zone level
At zone level, the participants are to submit innovation proposals. It should consist of:

i. Problem Statement
ii. Cause of the problem
iii. Suggested Solution

A total of the best 15 proposals from central zone and 9 from the rest of zones will be awarded a grant of RM50,000 each to execute their proposals.

2. National Level
Participants are to displays their final innovation. The panel of judges will choose 10 best entry. These finalist have to present orally in order to become the winner of MyInnovation 2012 culmination. The national level competition should consist of :

i. Problem Statement
ii. Cause of the problem
iii. Suggested Solution
iv. Implementation
v. Results
