Important 

1. Please print out Borang D & E (kad kampus & surat jawapan) ASAP in 1 paper=2 pages (back & front), use better & quality paper(if not ur paper is already spoiled b4 reach UKM) and post it to UKM with 30 cents setem/60 cents setem (in case you can't receive the original documents b4 deadline) Red Letterbox
2. Please go to Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad to open one New account with ATM card, remember to tell them that you just wan an Akaun simpanan Wadiah  (RM30 deposit) or they will ask u to deposit RM130. No bankbook given, they will give u a slip after u open the account. remember to register internet banking too at atm card machine after u opened the account by creating internet banking PIN (different from your Pin for atm card) so that you can log in to the internet banking  www.bankislam.biz (Penang Lang : Bank Islam is opposite of Dewan Sri Pinang, beside Great Eastern)
3. Please go to Bank Simpanan Nasional to buy pincode RM5 for PTPTN
4. Please go to Hospital for body Check-UP (Penang Lang please go to 001, Counter H which opens at 9.30am, pay RM20, filling the forms given by them & take urine test + eye,blood pressure test + x-ray, there will be another appointment date for u go to again)
5. FaX Borang Pengesahan Menggunakan perhidmatan Bas UKM (only if u r going to UKM by airplane/bus/komuter and nid to use ukm bus service to reach ukm for registration)

Dear all future UKM students, 

Our student representative have visited the Bahagian Pengurusan Akedemik of UKM on Tuesday (19/7/11) regarding the issue about a numbers of students haven't receive their courier from UKM.

According to Encik Asyraf Radzwan of the Bahagian Akademik UKM, there are still a number of couriers haven't been sent out yet due to technical issues. All of the couriers should be sent out by today and will be received latest by 29/7/11 for those who live in East Malaysia. For those who live in the Peninsular, it shall be received earlier than that.

And thus the actual expiry date for summitting the borang D will be delayed to 5/8/11. Please share it to your UKM friends =)

Steps after you know which course for UKM new student :
1. Go to https://smp.ukm.my/kemasukan/tawaran/ & enter ur IC number

2.  Click Pengesahan Tawaran after entering the following site

3. Choose Terima Tawaran & Kemaskini and you will see ''Status Pengesahan : Terima Tawaran''

4. Advice / Things to do from UKM Seniors:  [ Our UKM Seniors are really very good =p ]
 a) Keep checking your letter box whether have you received the letter/doc from UKM (will receive within 1/2 weeks time)
b) Prepare at least 10 passport size photos
c) Ladies : Prepare at least 2 blue baju kurung for orientation week
d) Don't bring too many things to Kolej as you have to move out everything each semester
e) No cooking, Fridge at Kolej
f) Timetable is fixed n u just nid to register for the classes
g) Bed, table, cupboard, wi-fi are provided in Kolej
h) Must stay at least 1 year in Kolej
i) Main Transport : Walk, Bus (Bicycle is not encouraged because there are 'small' slope in UKM unless you really love cycling)
j) Textbooks cost a lot, prepare RM300++ for original textbooks, RM180 for photocopied textbooks/ Direct system in UKM-direct senior will give u passyears & notes, so no nid to buy some books, textbook can be bought later
h) will get Jacket, cap, Kolej Shirt, track bottom UKM during orientation week
i) Kad pelajar must be weared during the 1st few week (very strict during that time)
j) Toilets in Kolej : usable but spoiled by Human (from senior)
k) Hotlines provided by UKM's Study Guidance/Student Society (not UKM's Official Group) Contact them if you have any questions
